The basics…

Hi! My name is Kellyn, and I am the founder of Cleanse Holistic Home, LLC. I believe that starting with the basics of a clean home can really contribute to the overall health and wellness of a family. Getting rid of dirt and germs is important but time is another valuable asset we tend to overlook.

I know I’ve spent many weekends or weeknights cleaning my house, leaving little time to spend with the people and projects I love. My goal with Cleanse is to help remove the emotional labor of tidying up, and bring a little balance into your home. Our time is precious, and every extra bit counts.

What makes Cleanse different from other residential cleaning services?

I believe that the energy we use to create something directly influences the outcome. So, I create all of my own cleaning products. I make each product with the knowledge that I am able to bring freshness and light into your home. I use a combination of vinegar, baking soda, hydrogen peroxide, natural soaps and essential oils…depending on the cleaning product. I have two cats, and found myself worrying that they would walk through a freshly bleached counter top or sniff too closely to a bubbling bathroom cleaner. Using natural cleaners brings me peace of mind knowing they won’t burn their toes or noses, and I won’t either! Each product I use can be customized to your needs and allergies. Just let me know if anyone in the house is allergic to anything.

Okay…but what about COVID-19?

My services have changed a lot during this global pandemic. In the beginning, I stopped taking appointments to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Now that personal protective equipment is more easily obtained and the products I use are back on the shelves, I feel confident that I am able to take appointments and keep our community safe. I’ve added a new cleaning and disinfecting agent to my routine that is EPA recommended to kill corona virus including SARS-CoV-2, the cause of COVID-19. I have reduced the number of appointments I take in one day, and have a rigorous disinfecting protocol before and after your service. Prior to entering your home, I sanitize all of my tools and hands with an alcohol-based sanitizer and put on my KN95 mask that I do not remove for the duration of your service, and put on gloves. During your service, I change my gloves and grab a new cleaning cloth between rooms and when changing tasks. I do not bring my own vacuum to services to prevent cross-contamination between homes, and ask that I able to use yours!

During your appointment, you may leave your home, and I will reach out to you when your service is complete! If you choose to stay for your appointment, please adhere to social distancing requirements and wear a mask. If you or your members of your home are diagnosed with COVID-19, show symptoms or fever, or have come into contact with a person diagnosed with COVID-19, I ask that you please cancel or reschedule your appointment until you receive a negative test result.

What products do you use?

I always use products that are safe, effective, natural, homemade and eco-friendly. I use a combination of vinegar, castile soap, baking soda, essential oils, Thieves concentrate by Young Living, and recently I have introduced a new product to kill 99.9% of germs and viruses on non-porous surfaces (including corona viruses) called Force of Nature. It’s very important to me that I know what ingredients go into the product I’m using in your home. I have also reduced the amount of waste generated by cleaning products by using glass, refillable bottles and containers, as well as reusable cleaning cloths! I want your service to be as low impact on your family and our planet as possible.

I ‘d like to set up a recurring appointment weekly or bi-weekly, is that possible?

Due to demand, I’m currently unable to schedule weekly or bi-weekly services! I typically recommend booking once per month, and pre-booking is highly encouraged!
